First Steps to Online success
If you are just starting your online presence, there are a couple things that you should have right from the start.
First, your own domain……this is a small expense, about $10 a year. Second, your own hosting account…Again, this is of little expense and great rewards. I personally use hostgator, which is only $8 a month.
So why do you need a domain and hosting if your just starting out?..Several reasons. …”Branding” either yourself or your domain. And once you have your site indexed by the search engines you want to keep that ‘free’ traffic as yours for the long haul.

With a domain and hosting you can now upload Jeff Johnson’s free traffic getting SEO plugin for WordPress. You will need the newest version of wordpress, which is as simple as one click to install if you are using hostgator as your web host. Then, just follow the detailed instructions from the “underground training lab” to install the plugin and you are on your way to building a non stop flow of traffic to your new site.
Now you should look into a product or service…..either your own or an affiliate product……..or possibly some Adsense ads….it’s really up to you.
In fact you do not even have to have a product at this point. You can just deliver good content and start building a subscriber list
At this point you should have one more tool in your pouch, and that would be a good autoresponder.
I use Aweber . There are others, however I have found this one to be the best choice all around for me.
With your domain, hosting, traffic getting blog, and autoresponder, you are now poised to expand, grow, and become wildly successful.
You have the foundation in place upon which to build your online empire!
